Vitamin E is essential in the reproduction of all birds, but especially in caged birds. Lack of vitamin E is a common cause of reproductive disorders.
In the mating season the use of higher doses of SERIFEROL may double the number of bird hatchlings, decrease the number of unhatched eggs and ensure hatchling survival.
Dosage rate and administration
SERIFEROL may be used in drinking water and food pastes. Treatment should begin 2 weeks before the mating and last until the end of the egg set.
Add 10 drops of SERIFEROL to 1⁄4 of a liter (250ml) in the watering troughs twice a week. For bigger drinking troughs add a cap (8ml) in 4 liters. Medicated water should not be kept for longer than 24 hours.
For food pastes add 4 to 6 drops every 100 g or a whole cap per 4kg.
Target animals
Canaries, Common Goldfinch, Linnet, Cockatiel, Agapornis and Pigeons.
